Our Members in the Spotlight: Plugnotes, transforming the digitalisation of SMEs with no-code.

Plugnotes has the clear objective of helping SMEs facilitate their operational processes without the need for costly and complex IT development. The successful start-up’s winning formula is based on an ingenious tailor-made solution that saves companies time and overcomes logistical constraints. Discover the story of a company like no other.

The challenge for many SMEs is often to invest in IT development to meet specific needs. With Plugnotes, this problem is partly solved, as they can avoid these costs and problems by using a platform that offers a bespoke, code-free solution, enabling companies to easily create digital forms to facilitate the collection and tracking of information. As Plugnotes’ customers have significant logistical requirements, the start-up’s expertise can simplify processes, offering a significant advantage for these SMEs.

“Ease of integration, the number 1 success of the Plugnotes solution”.

What sets Plugnotes apart from other solutions is its ease of use and integration into existing ERP and management systems. Plugnotes forms are dynamic and Plugnotes has its own mobile application to facilitate use in the field. The aim is to make digitalisation accessible to everyone, even to teams not used to working behind a computer. For example, The Barn uses Plugnotes to quickly report delivery problems to suppliers. No more emails or repetitive scans; just a scan, a note and a photo, and the supplier is instantly informed.

“Our biggest success is that we work with around a hundred companies, who can save an average of almost 10 hours a week.” Camille points out that this impact on companies translates into a rapid return on investment, “the licence has paid for itself after a maximum of two to three months”. Convincing the market of the effectiveness of its no-code tool has been a big challenge for Plugnotes, but its collaboration with major companies such as Facq and the Red Cross has strengthened its credibility and attracted more customers.

A passionate team with a shared vision

The Plugnotes team is made up of 12 passionate individuals, who share the desire to make digitalisation accessible to all businesses. It was founded in 2017 by logistics and distribution entrepreneur Vincent de Bruyn, whose daughter Camille joined the company in 2019. Plugnotes was then able to bring together profiles ranging from technical development to marketing and business development.

Today, each member of the team brings their own expertise and dynamism to the table, contributing to the success of Plugnotes. Their main objective is “to work as quickly as possible with as many SMEs as possible to positively impact their day-to-day operations, and to include 100% of companies in these digitalisation projects, including field staff”. To achieve this quickly, they need to try not to do it alone, and to surround themselves with the right people. This is why they develop a lot of partnerships.

Plugnotes is well placed to continue transforming the way companies manage their business processes. According to Camille, the key to success in this sector is to “challenge yourself all the time”, at every level: product level, sales approach, marketing messages, human resources management, etc. But also to have a team that acts the same way and constantly challenges itself.
