At a time when well-being in the workplace is an essential social issue, eBloom is fully committed to helping employees achieve their full potential within companies.Co-founded by Margot Wuillaume, Marco Amory and Jasper Vandekerckhove, nearly five years ago, eBloom has built up a young team of eight people who share the common vision of placing well-being at the heart of the professional world.
What makes eBloom unique is first and foremost its team. Made up of young professionals, it aims to contribute to the transition to a more fulfilling world of work. According to Margot, “We live in a world where the rate of absenteeism and burn-out is skyrocketing.” What unites the team is the desire to have a social impact and play a part in it.
eBloom was founded by two students, Margot and Jasper, whose thesis topic turned into a business idea. “We felt that there was interest in the project and that it had a future,” says Margot. After taking the time to develop their tool in-house for the first year, they succeeded in attracting customers like N-side and building loyalty, accumulating over 200,000 cases of employee feedback on their platform.
eBloom was founded during lockdown. Unlike other companies, it was an opportunity for the start-up to launch at a time when some employees’ working conditions were being challenged. “We said to ourselves that this lockdown was when people needed us, because it is a tool to re-establish the collaborative aspect, and it allows people to express how they experience things,” explains Margot. They then decided to take up the challenge of developing a tool in three weeks so they could sound out companies. This strategy enabled the start-up to win the trust of its first customers and expand its user base.
Even today, eBloom’s major challenge is to get its customers to embrace a new working philosophy. “Clearly, it’s the norm today to invest in people, but there are always those who resist change and companies that are less aware than others.” In addition to its platform, eBloom has a crucial role to play in raising market awareness of the importance of well-being in the workplace and investing in a team.
With a well-developed tool and 200,000 examples of feedback already collected, Margot and her team have no intention of stopping there. Indeed, as Margot says, “When we talk about the future, we inevitably talk about AI.” The next step for eBloom will therefore be to integrate artificial intelligence, with the aim of further perfecting their solution to deliver an even richer, more powerful user experience. eBloom aims to stay at the cutting edge of technological innovation to offer its users an ever-improving experience.
Let’s keep an eye on future developments from this start-up, which promises to deliver innovative solutions for well-being in the workplace.
