We caught up with Amélie Alleman, successful entrepreneur and founder of Betuned. With over 17 years’ experience as a head-hunter, Amélie has launched her own company offering innovative recruitment solutions. Thanks to a subtle blend of recruitment expertise, a precise strategy and new technologies, Betuned offers a comprehensive product that provides a solution to the challenges faced by recruiting companies.
Amélie’s entrepreneurial journey began over four years ago, when she felt the need for a “more dynamic approach to recruitment“. Drawing on her experience as a head-hunter, she founded Betuned with the ambition of revolutionising the sector. What began as a service agency quickly evolved into a fully-fledged HR technology company. “It has worked really well. We have had over 70,000 qualified applications in three years,” says Amélie, with clients including The Huggy’s Bar and Leonidas.
It is this transition that Betuned considers its greatest success. Amélie’s decision to launch two SaaS products marked an important step in the company’s evolution. “Our customers’ reception of the product is great, it’s growing fast and it is a success to have innovated.” she says.
Today, Amélie is proud to present a product with an obvious appeal to her customers. Betuned offers several services, such as career site creation, applicant tracking systems (ATS) and innovative digital marketing campaigns – all based on artificial intelligence! The new platform brings together Amélie’s recruitment expertise with new technologies.
However, the journey has not always been smooth. Amélie describes some of the complications of the early days, especially in terms of remuneration and the constant need to innovate and adapt. Moving from a service-based model to a product-centred approach also required a change of mindset on the part of the market. But that did not prevent Amélie from staying positive and maintaining her winning spirit.
To close this interview, Amélie smilingly shared her best advice for successful entrepreneurship. “Above all, you have to surround yourself with talented, inspiring people who are able to lift you up.” And if you look at her, you will see that she herself is the perfect example of this valuable advice.
