Brussels tech start-ups, go international! hub.brussels is taking you to Paris on 11-12 June for an exclusive immersion at VivaTech, the must-attend innovation fair. Join our delegation, explore new opportunities, and expand your network at the heart of the global tech ecosystem!

About

This mission aims to support prospecting and market research for tech companies taking their first steps internationally, particularly in the French market. Participating Brussels start-ups will have the opportunity to attend VivaTech as visitors and be part of a Brussels start-up delegation.

Participating companies will receive a pass for the entire duration of the fair (June 11-14), allowing them to stay on Friday and Saturday for a personal program without hub.brussels’ support.

VivaTech is a major international trade fair dedicated to innovation, technology, and start-ups, held annually in Paris. It brings together entrepreneurs, investors, and tech industry experts to explore the latest trends, discover innovative solutions, and discuss the challenges of the digital future. The event features conferences, workshops, live demonstrations, and competitions, providing a unique platform for companies of all sizes to connect, collaborate, and grow on a global scale.

Program

Wednesday 11 June

8:13 Departure on the Eurostar from Bruxelles-Midi

9:35 Arrival at Paris – Gare du Nord

10:30 Arrival at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles

Meeting with Olivier Costa, General Representative of the Brussels-Capital Region in France. Discussion on the needs of start-ups for support in the French market;
Visit to the Belgian pavilion and meeting with the Belgian delegation (participating Brussels-based companies: Wequity, Leexi, Shayp, 26lights, Altheria, Recovr, Penbox, Groom Consulting, Novable, IOT Factory, WeSmart). Participation in activities at the stand.

14:00 Vivatech Tour: collective tour of major booths and prospection

Afternoon (TBC) Participation in conferences (according to the fair’s schedule) and in the start-up challenge sessions

Practical info

hub.brussels offers participating companies a complimentary entry pass to VivaTech, fully covered by hub.brussels, along with the chance to join an international prospecting programme.

Selection criteria*

The start-ups selected for this mission must meet the following criteria:

Be established in the Brussels-Capital Region;
Be active in the technology (tech) sector;
Demonstrate a strong desire to expand internationally;
Show a specific interest in expanding into the French market;
Follow the program planned by hub.brussels on June 11-12;
Cover their own travel and accommodation expenses;
Register for at least one of the start-up challenges to showcase their innovative solutions.
